Tunnels Tunnel structures in general performed well during and after the event. Except for minor damage observed in Erkenek tunnel lining, no major deformations were mapped. Some pictures from ongoing Bahe-Nurda railway tunnel construction site are shown in Figure 4.8. The structural and geotechnical performance of them is reported to be superior.
